When life unravels with the toilet paper

There’s a two-hour delayed start to school and snow is puddling at the back door where a pile of boots, mittens and jackets have been dumped. One child has been banished to his bedroom after slamming a sibling into the screen door when a snowball fight soured.

In the kitchen, a certain 2-year-old has poured the contents of the french press all over the counter and then tried to mop up the coffee with toilet paper. A hammer is being used to open a bag of English muffins.

What’s going on? I yell.

“Toast!” comes the response.

If only I had the uninterrupted hours of Benjamin Franklin or at least a slice of this lemon tart, than maybe this blog would happen today, but instead I think my plan’s popped. Go check out these cool links instead:

    Thanks, Kyndale. I love the alphabet made of chocolate sauce, too. There are mornings when I could drink it straight from the can!
